Petition Action

Call for immediate general election due to a lack of confidence in government.

Petition Details

Call for an immediate general election due to a lack of confidence in the current government to prevent an economic collapse and steer the country through the financial crisis.

Additional Information

This government, which has no mandate from the people of Britain, has chosen to entirely abandon the manifesto of the last elected government. Within two weeks of taking the reigns of power has managed to destroy the UK economy with heartless policies which ignore the problems the UK currently faces and instead enrich the top 1% of earners.

It is already to late to undo the economic damage caused by these policies, but further damage can be avoided by giving the people the opportunity of a general election.
