Petition Action

The House of Commons to call a Vote of No Confidence in the UK Government

Petition Details

This PM was not voted for by the UK electorate, and the policies now being imposing on the country do not have the support of the population. The government's fiscal policies have already crashed the UK economy forcing the Bank of England to take unprecedented steps to protect it from further damage

Additional Information

As UK government is adamant that it has every intention of pursuing what they describe as a 'risky' ideology at a time when every UK household and business is facing severe hardship as a result of factors not of their making, I call on every MP in House of Commons who fully understands the harm UK government will inflict to the country, to add their voices to those of colleagues across all parties in the House of Commons in a Vote of No Confidence in this government.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

We can't accept petitions about appointments, which includes calling for Ministers to be sacked or for a vote of no confidence.

If you're concerned about a particular policy or decision that's the responsibility of Government or the House of Commons, you could start a petition about that.

We have published the following petition, which you might like to sign:

Call an immediate general election to end the chaos of the current government: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/619781
