Bring children's A&E and maternity services back to Southport
Bring 24/7 children’s A&E and full maternity services back to Southport
Southport losing it’s children’s A&E and maternity services has been a disaster which has no doubt cost lives.
The nearest delivery suite is Ormskirk which is at least 20 minutes away, through country roads which become very congested.
Ormskirk is also where our Children’s A&E service lies but it is not a 24 hour service. The nearest 24/7 service is almost an hour away in Liverpool.
What happens if you don’t drive or have money for a taxi?
Women and children of Southport deserve better.
