BAN THE PRODUCTS OF CHILD LABOUR

This Petition Calls For Legislation To Ban The Import,Distribution and Sale in the UK Of Any Products made in part or in whole by Child Labour even if the Child Labour is legal in the Country Of origin

Under this proposal the importer and all involved in the distribution chain would have Joint and several

responsibility to ensure the products were not made by Children and no player in the chain would be able to claim that they had been assured that child Labour was not involved,by another player. All profit ALL MUST BE LIABLE. The aim of the legislation is to provide an insentive to all concerned to take action to ensure that there can be no possibility of such goods being sold in the UK and to this end those convicted must face a term of imprisonment rather than a fine that can be absorbed as a business costs
