Not to consider using toilet-to-tap system
For the Government to not allow treated wastewater to enter domestic water supplies.
I would definitely struggle my self to use tap water or even take a shower knowing that it has come from a toilet tap system, after talking to people I have found they have the same views as me. People that suffer from OCD will be highly affected.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We can only accept petitions about things the Government or Parliament are directly responsible for.
Under the Water Supply (Water Quality) Regulations 2016 water companies need to submit an application to the Drinking Water Inspectorate to use any water source, which would include effluent. These applicants and associated risks are assessed by the DWI.
It is up to individual water companies whether to submit an application to use a new water source, and deciding whether to approve these applications is an operational matter for the DWI.
