Pay MPs a basic living wage salary without expenses
It's time MPs did their bit to help towards the cost of living crisis.
The working class, and the most vulnerable in society are being forced to bail the government out of the catastrophic energy/ cost of living crisis. I think it's only fair that they put their money where their mouths are, agree to a basis living wage salary, WITHOUT expenses.

We can't accept your petition because the UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for the issue you raise. The Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority (IPSA) is responsible for deciding on MPs' expenses and pay. IPSA is independent of both Parliament and Government.
