Remove the calorie counts from the menus
The calorie counts should be removed from menus in pubs and restaurants. This is in order to help protect people suffering from an eating disorder from the distress these calorie counts can cause.
For anyone who is watching their calorie intake there could be a special menu to ask for.
Calorie counts on menus are incredibly damaging to anyone who is suffering from, recovering or has suffered from an eating disorder.
A huge part of recovery is going out to restaurants again and bei g open to eating foods without worrying about the calories. Eating disorders are unfortunately affecting a huge percentage of people living in the UK, and also for tourists coming to the UK, who have issues with an ED these menu calories could be hugely disturbing
