abolish the standing charge from energy suppliers, making it illegal.
households across the uk will instantly be better off. it is still not enough, however, it is a start.
families cannot afford their energy bills, the uk government already know this to be fact.
the £2500 per year limit recently levied is still unrealistic for minimum wage households.
the only people benefitting from the standing charge are the energy providers, who have multi billion £ profit margins per year.
