school time holidays for families working in tourism
Many parents work in jobs which rely on the tourist trade, where taking time of during school holidays would not be practical, mean a huge loss of income or not be allowed depending on the job role.. others Work in jobs where they aren't allowed time off Work during certain holidays eg Christmas to make it fair for every worker.
Please reverse the bill to fine parents for taking their children out of school for family holidays (bonding, spending time as a whole family with both parents together, learning first hand about other cultures, perhaps even visiting one of the seven winners of the world).
5 days a school year isn't going to be taken by every child and could hugely benefit those who do. And we are after all living in a time when educational books and games are readily available via many means (eg tablets).
