Require parliamentary candidates provide a CV
Candidates for a general election should be required to provide a full CV, including education and work experience. If a sitting MP, they should also have to publish a complete list of how they voted in the previous Parliament. This would be published for voters to see ahead of the election.
We want the Government to introduce legislation making it a requirement that every person putting themselves forward for election to the House of Commons be required to provide a full CV, education and work experience, and, if a sitting MP, a list of how he/she voted in the previous Parliament.
