Remove VAT and the standing charges from energy bills
In the current energy crisis this would greatly assist the public
Food is zero rated for VAT because its classed as essential, surely electric and gas are essential and should be also be zero rated, the Standing charge on both electric and gas should be scrapped, its basically an outdated and unfair compulsory charge.
