DWP: Revise the PIP Mobility - It should be on a graded scale like daily living
It’s not as simple as one yes/no question as to whether you can walk 200metres as to if you qualify for a mobility pip payment, it should be a graded points scale just like it is in the daily living section of PIP.
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
The PIP assessment criteria for mobility activities already has a number of different descriptors for people with different levels of mobility. You can read the PIP assessment criteria here: www.gov.uk/government/publications/personal-independence-payment-assessment-guide-for-assessment-providers/pip-assessment-guide-part-2-the-assessment-criteria
We could accept a petition calling for the PIP assessment criteria to be changed, but it would need to be clear what changes you want to be made.
