Hospital with 24/7 emergency services in Maidenhead

Petition Details

St Marks hospital can be provided with additional resources and funding to cater 24/7 for emergency services

Additional Information

Maidenhead has grown massively and new build homes are mushrooming everywhere with council opening up the area big time. It's important infrastructure is also built to support the same growth. Currently Maidenhead a/e is either slough Wexham or reading. Wexham is already overcrowded and thinly staffed while Royal berks is not in the coverage area.
Maidenhead with such big population requires a hospital of it's own with all facilities

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Petitions must call for a specific action that the UK Government or Parliament are directly responsible for.

Decisions about local NHS provision are a matter for your local Clinical Commissioning Group and NHS Trust, not the Government or Parliament.
