Amnesty for undocumented migrants who have lived in the UK for 12 years and more
The Government should implement an Amnesty program to undocumented migrants who have been living in the UK for past 12 years or more to those who have no criminal convictions and does not pose risk. Families who are living under the hostile environment whom are integrated and fill labour shortage.
The government should implement a further “legacy scheme” as operated between 2006 - 2011 to deal with undocumented migrants.
The Home Office had previously indicated on 19 July 2021 that consideration should be given to a targeted “Amnesty” program.
Further to the discussion from 19th of July 21, it was concluded that petition should have been focused and not of blanket nature.
Mr Tom empathised with who have lived in the UK for certain period and consider this can be an argument.
