Reintroduce Dog License to own a dog
Reintroduce Dog Licenses.
Licenses to be affordable but consist of all owners and dog microchip details. Licenses to be up to date and accurate, mandatory to change details to new owner if sold or surrendered, fines for licenses not accurate and registered to correct owner unless the dog is stolen.
Since the rise of dog ownership this has resulted in rescue centres been overcrowded, dogs been dumped and people buying dogs without prior knowledge. This has resulted in a rise of dog attacks especially on children. Dog licenses make people have to take responsibility for their dogs actions, sign over the license if they surrender or sell their dog and ensure dogs can be tracked and chipped to their rightful owners. Fines to be issued for those details that are not up to date and correct
