Chancellor of the Exchequer has to have proven economic/financial experience
Ensure that those people who take on the role of the chancellor of the exchequer have the qualifications and experience to do the role. Proven economic and financial experience to lead and manage the 6th largest economy in the world.
People who are I’ll equipped to do senior roles are making large mistakes. If our uk government were a business it would’ve been insolvent by now. There are lots of very capable people in uk industry who should’ve been considered and interviewed for the role.
