Stop television adverts that bully older people and those who are housebound.
As mental health awareness is now a huge part of our lives, it is only right that the adverts shown on television be reviewed. Old people are constantly bombarded with shocking images from charities targeting this demographic for money; from funeral planners and images of disease, illness & death.
It is contradictory of the governments mental health awareness campaigns; it allows a vulnerable demographic to be cunningly targeted and is effecting the mental health and well being of a demographic of people that do still exist in our society, that are often overlooked and often battle the day-to-day, as it is. It shows a lack of consideration and contradicts British Values.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand that you're concerned about the impact of certain adverts on older people, but we're not sure exactly what adverts you want to be banned.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
