introduced more minority authors to the English curriculum at schools
i would like the government to introduce a policy requiring school to have a lest one book written by a person of colour
Literature provides a critical gateway into experiences and worlds that we may never ourselves encounter. Teaching through stories and verse is a major part of children’s learning at school, and offers ways for young people to understand the power of language and storytelling from an early age. This is why it is important for children to learn form a diverse selection of authors
