Scrap bedroom tax. so people can afford to live during the cost of living crisis
With the price of everything from electricity and gas, petrol, water and groceries all going up but wages and benefits not matching the inflation we are now in a cost of living crisis. With these rises we are seeing more and more people/families struggling to pay and living in poverty.
Stopping bedroom tax would be a step in the rite direction for those living on low incomes and on benefits in council property. We are in a cost of living crisis epidemic. People in the UK shouldn’t be having to use food banks in order to feed their families nor having to choose between heating their homes or basic necessities.
Bedroom tax affects the most vulnerable, Disabled couples who need separate bedrooms and parents who have a bedroom for the kids to stay still have to pay.
