Change the severance rules of MPs/PMs to align with other public sector bodies.
Liz Truss will have earned (inc severance) £25,600 for spending 45 days as PM + entitlement to £115,000 pa for life.
The T&Cs for ministers are out of touch with reality and need reviewing as the UK cant AFFORD anymore resignations.
Not to mention the rotating cabinet roles and their costs.
Bring Parliamentary Terms & Conditions into line with other public sector workers. ie "if you have more than two years' of qualifying service, a compensation payment of one month's pay for each year of employment (up to a maximum of 24 months' pay) is payable."
We are in the middle of the worst financial crisis this country has seen for 40 years yet the Government is playing musical chairs and we are expected to pay them for this, for life ,whilst being told to cut down on gas and electric!
