Expand free school meals to all households in receipt of Universal Credit now
The UK Government needs to act immediately to alleviate the suffering of UK citizens by ensuring millions of children get one nutritious meal a day and saving money for their parents/guardians.
This measure should be brought in permanently and should occur in term time AND school holidays.
The cost of living crisis is causing levels of suffering which have not happened since the aftermath of WWII with millions starving or freezing in their homes.
The economy is in a terrible state due to the effects of Brexit, Covid, the war in Ukraine and policies enacted by the Government. It's having hugely negative effects on the lives of millions.
We need to properly support ordinary people in the UK and this action would go a long way towards doing so, and would boost economic growth.
