All research funded by the taxpayer should be made publicly available
I would like all research that has been outsourced to 3rd parties, and paid for by the taxpayer, to be available to all parties at a minimum, and ought to be available to the public
To prevent parties replicating research at the taxpayers expense, and prevent unfavourable findings from being hidden.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand that you want to see greater transparency of publicly funded research, but we're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. It's not clear if you want the Government to make publication of research a condition of providing funding, or something else.
The Government also provides funding to organisations that commission their own research, and decisions about this is published would be a matter for the commissioning organisation, not the Government or Parliament.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
