Petition Details

Ban all fireworks in the UK permanently, to include firework displays. Public and private displays to be fully banned.

Additional Information

Fireworks are dangerous, disruptive to lives and unsettling for many people, animals and wildlife. They cause extreme fear. They are excessively loud and set off at unsociable hours disturbing sleep. Firework remains are not pleasant to clean up, dangerous for our animals and wildlife if consumed, get stuck or tangled up. Fireworks can cause horrific injuries which can be life changing or worse if handled incorrectly. They can be fatal to animals and wildlife. They are not good for our environment. Please ban fireworks permanently.
