End all restrictions to Sunday trading hours (Sunday Trading Act 1994)
For the government to undertake a full investigation into the social and economic benefits of abolishing all Sunday trading laws. The investigation should look beyond the rejected deregulation bill amendments, made by Phillip Davies MP, in 2015.
In an era where the UK and Global economy continue to stall and growth is a key political motivation for all major parties, the additional revenue achieved by longer trading hours is invaluable. Not to mention, socioeconomic benefits of enabling the population to visit shops at a wider range of times better suited to them, the average working week and the demands of our modern world.
Laws were suspended for the 2012 olympics and a revision of this act could enable a trial of the abolishment.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand that you are concerned about existing Sunday trading laws, but it's not clear if you want the Government to review these, trial removing current restrictions, or just end all restrictions now.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
