Replace the NMW with the national living wage to reflect cost of living crisis
Introduce the national living wage as a replacement for the national minimum wage. This would be to reflect the cost of living crisis and help workers in lower paid jobs to maintain security and financial stability.
The current National minimum wage does not reflect the ever growing prices of necessities such as food shopping, energy bills, rise in public transport costs, inflation increases etc. By replacing the national minimum wage with the national living wage this would help with the daily struggles of surviving during a cost of living crisis.
