Reduce university fees for the medical field to combat the understaffed NHS
Make university fees less overbearing and reduce them to support the advancement of an already understaffed field with a looming crisis ahead. Provide more financial support for medicine/nursing related pathways.
With the current economic crisis and rise of univeristy fees, along with the struggling and understaffed NHS, it would provide more of an incentive to replinish the medical sector and focus on improiving and mianitaing the general health of our nation.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
If you on a full or part-time NHS-funded course which will lead to you registering as a doctor or dentist the NHS will already pay your tuition fees.
We could accept a petition calling on the Government to fund tuition fees for other medical courses, but it would need to be clear what courses you wanted the Government to fund free tuition fees for.
You can find out more about existing support for people on NHS-funded courses here: www.gov.uk/nhs-bursaries/what-youll-get
