Stop the removal of transgender people from the equality act
To stop trans people from being removed from the equality act and to remove the current prime minister Rishi Sunak
We had the equality act to protect everyone from being discriminated against and it made England a safe place for everyone. With them removing transgender people then we are going to have more suicide from youths and adults that may be trans. We are all human and I believe that we all have a place in this world to live freely

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action. We understand that you are concerned about the possibility of legal rights for trans people being reduced, but the Government has not announced any plans to change the Equality Act, or remove legal protections for trans people.
It has been reported that the Government may look to amend the Equality Act to make it clear that sex means biological sex rather than gender, and we could accept a petition calling on the Government to commit not to making this change.
We can't accept petitions about appointments, which includes calling for the Prime Minister to be removed.
