Keep and improve rights for transgender and non-binary people in the U.K.
Make all workplaces equal - this will prevent people being to scared to apply for certain jobs or being rejected.
Ensure people that discriminate against transgender people are prosecuted.
Through out all of the world, transgender and non-binary people face discrimination. This is seen a lot in the U.K. 41% of people in the U.K. identify as either a transgender man or a transgender women and of these 67% fear being open about the gender identity in case of being discriminated for it.
As a young transgender man, I fear that although my gender and differences hasn't affected my classes it may end up affecting my ability to get the job I want. I think this should be an important thought for members of parliament as it will end up affecting everyone throughout the country if things do not change.
