Canel the subsided meals and drinks for MP's and the House of Lords
It's an absolute disgrace that MP's and the house of Lords have subsided meals and drinks while we have child poverty in this country. I want them to cancel this subsidy immediately and never bring it back.
All to often we see those who are living on the bread line and relying on food banks to survive and some parents missing meals so their children can eat. Yet we see MP's and members of the house of Lord's eating and drinking lavishly with subsides monies from the tax payer. The members of the house of Lords are even getting paid lavish sums to attend. They treat it like a private members club. We have Matt Hancock in the Jungle when getting paid as a sittIng MP and getting a huge cheque from TV

The House of Commons Catering service does not provide a subsidised service in the commercial sense of the word. Some venues make a profit, while in other venues the cost of providing the service does exceed the income received in sales due to the irregular hours and unpredictability of parliamentary business. The House of Commons publishes details of the cost of House of Commons catering services: www.parliament.uk/site-information/foi/transparency-publications/hoc-transparency-publications/catering-services/transparency-reporting-catering-services/
