Leave the current equality act unchanged for transgender inderviduals.
Leave the 2010 equality act as it is. Allowing the transgender community to still have access to emergency spaces of their identifying gender, help and continue to protect against discrimination as well as continue to protect individuals with and without a gender recognition certificate.
Transphobia is on the rise in the UK. Now more then ever we need to make sure that their rights remain the same as any other. That access to safe places are provided and the ability to socially and medically transition is still in place.
With transconversion therapy still being allowed in the UK, the government needs to keep in place protection for trans rights.
Changing or removing parts of the 2010 act could have diar consequences for the trans community. Trans people deserve protection.
