Prohibit the term sex in the Equality Act 2010 representing only biological sex
To recede on their aim to class 'sex' in the Equality Act 2010 as the biologically binary 'Female' and 'Male' of our society.
This is a regression for our society rather than a clarification and inclusivity that would be more progressive - bracketed genders (Trans, Binary, Non-Binary) instead.
49% of UK society that pays little/no attention to Trans news say that discrimination is a significant issue for the community (YouGov Poll).
To propose that stripping rights for Trans and Non-binary people is to protect Women and Children is to decimate both. Many understand the burden and self-repression to keep one safe.
The cost of living crisis is a much more precarious knife edge that needs the Government's actual attention.
