Reintroduce wolves into the UK
We want the government to discuss reintroducing wolves into rural areas of the UK. Wolves should be integrated into our ecosystem.
The establishment of wolves has a beneficial impact on our environment. Wolves are a keystone species scientifically proven to boost biodiversity diversity and carbon sequestration. They help to regulate deer populations naturally. Wild ungulates tend to be the preferred prey of wolves over livestock.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We can only accept petitions about things the Government or Parliament are directly responsible for.
Decisions about releasing wolves in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland are a matter for the Scottish, Welsh and Northern Ireland governments, not the UK Government or Parliament. We could accept a petition calling on the Government to reintroduce wolves to England.
