Make the voter ID rules fairer for younger people and those with lower incomes.
The list of acceptable forms of identification given is unfairly skewed towards the elderly and those with higher incomes. Why is a 60+ Oyster card acceptable but an 18+ one not? Please amend this and provide more acceptable forms of identification if we have to have them at all.
The rules as they are demote democracy, something which the government should have to uphold.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand that you are concerned about the range of identity documents that will be accepted for the purposes of voter ID, but we're not sure exactly what additional documents you would like to be added to this list.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
The list of identity documents that will be accepted already includes identity cards bearing the Proof of Age Standards Scheme hologram, such as the CitizenCard, My ID Card, and NUS Totum ID Card.
