Elected politicians and senior civil servants to release their metadata
GCHQ and the NSA are apparently legally permitted to harvest and use the 'metadata' of UK and overseas citizens.
Mr William Hagues, Foreign Secretary, says that law-abiding citizens have 'nothing to fear' from the collection of their metadata.
I therefore petition the government to release on a monthly basis the communications metadata of all Members of the House of Commons, House of Lords, Senedd i Gymru, Scottish Parliament, senior civil servants and special advisers.
If they have nothing to hide, they have nothing to fear.
You can't sign this petition because it is now closed. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
