Make Developers responsible for building vital early years settings.
In Cranbrook, Kent like many similar towns hundreds of family homes are currently being built to meet the growing demand of families moving into the area. Developers need to be responsible for building early years settings inline with the family homes that are being built.
There is only 2 preschools in the area. One of which is Rainbow preschool who are being forced to close as the building they use is being taken back by the school. There is no where else for them to go. Both preschools are full with long waiting lists.
Early years settings provide an essential service to our youngest children.
We support the very early communication skills and nurture the growing child.
Other local settings are full meaning children have no where to go. This is not fair and these children are being let down

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We can only accept petitions about things the Government or Parliament are directly responsible for.
Decisions about the location of early years settings are a matter for people wanting to operate early years settings, not developers, the UK Government or Parliament.
