Require all hospitals in England to perform operations at the weekend
I would like the government to enact legislation that requires hospital management, under NHS England, to improve efficiency by organising staff rotas to perform operations at the weekend.
This would make best use of available resources, help clear waiting lists and reduce waste. It would also encourage transparency and provide accountability in the use of taxpayers’ money.
