Put people first before expensive green, and red tape initiatives
As a small time developer, creating new dwellings has become an astronomically expensive task, as well as increasingly slow process. These red-tape initiatives slow production of new dwellings and make them more expensive, which feed down to consumers such as first time buyers.
It is imperative to move to cleaner energy, but this cannot come at the significant cost of peoples well-being and quality of life. EVERYONE DESERVES AN AFFORDABLE HOME.
An imposition of a vast array of measures on builders & developers has forced many away from the field and pushed up prices. These measures NEED to be relaxed, and the focus placed on the production of renewable energy.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.We're not sure what regulations you'd like to be removed.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
