Heavy haulage off roads and back onto railways
containerise, where possible, heavy haulage and return it to the railways. consignments are then delivered to local distribution centres where they are delivered by road.
our roads are already congested enough without clogging them with slow moving lorries. revenue would be returned to the railways to be reinvested in the railway infrastructure.
