Urge banks to give all customers options of 3 month mortgage holidays in 2023.
Encourage our Banks to be responsible and re-introduce a 3 month mortgage holiday as a minimum, as successfully promoted during the coronavirus pandemic, with a review to look at extending it for 6 months if necessary.
To stop mass repossessions in the coming 12 - 18 months and give indirect financial assistance to those who need it. It’s in the interest of our lenders to be responsible and stop people missing mortgage payments due to increase costs of utility bills & inflation at record highs.
