Abolish the Arts Council
Abolish the Arts Council, and do not transfer its responsibilities to other government departments.
Government finances are very tight, spending on vital government services is being constrained and taxes are being increased. The Arts Council is impossible to justify in this environment. Those who enjoy the arts should make their own decisions to provide funding.
