Additional Information

Make British Sign Language part of the school curriculum from KS2

British Sign Language is a universal language that can be used to break down barriers of communication, across ethnic groups and children with variable abilities.

For example.

If a child does not use spoken English at home or as their first language they may find it difficult to communicate with a child that does use English as their first language.

If both students learned Sign language then the barriers of communication would be removed. Allowing both children to feel included.
