Petition Action

Keep Maths and English A-Level non-compulsory and let us keep a choice

Petition Details

It has been reported that the Prime Minister wants to require children to do maths and English until they are 18 years old, however I think that children should keep the choice of what they want to do after GCSE.

Additional Information

I think that people should have the choice of what they want to do, however if this was to be put in place, opportunities would be narrowed down, and they are very hard A Levels to make people who don’t want to do the subjects which can make people miserable and ruin mental health
