Petition Action

Create a new area in the government in charge of women's rights only.

Petition Details

Help support women in the UK and create an area where it focuses on changing women's rights and adding more to help them.

Additional Information

The disregard of women's rights globally is something that isn't being fixed or prioritised - if we start this in the UK, other countries will follow and the issue will finally have some light shed on it.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. The Government Equalities Office is already responsible for women's rights and Maria Caulfield is the Minister for Women. You can find out more here

www.gov.uk/government/organisations/government-equalities-office

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
