Free solar panels for those in very low-income housing.
Look at a scheme to help fund free solar panels for those in very low income houses e.g. council estates. This will ease the pressure of rising electricity bills for those who need money the most and excess power can be sold back to the grid to raise money for the government's future plans.
This would help those in need the most to save on electricity and also generate future income for the government from selling that excess power back to the grid. This extra excess power would take some strain off the UKs current power grid and make things like blackouts less likely in the future.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. We're not sure what you mean by 'low income housing'. We could accept a petition calling for the Government to fund free solar panels for people in local authority/housing association housing, or for people on low incomes/specific benefits, if that's what you'd like to see happen.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
