"First Aid" training for school children
First aid training very important whether it be in the home the work place, school, shopping or socialising. AED, are widely available today, but how many people know, or are confident enough , to use one?
I don't believe it happens in the school at the moment, (not part of the school time-table). The school is the government's responsibility and only they can implement it.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
The Government's Relationships Education, Relationships and Sex Education (RSE) and Health Education curriculum requires that all students be taught first aid in primary and secondary schools. This includes "life-saving skills, including how to administer CPR".

Sex Education (RSE) and Health Education curriculum here: assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/908013/Relationships_Education__Relationships_and_Sex_Education__RSE__and_Health_Education.pdf
