Negotiate with the nursing unions, including pay.
As our representatives MPs are duty bound to act in accordance with the wishes of their constituents. The refusal by government to discuss pay with the nursing unions does not reflecting what the public want or expect. Open negotiations now.
The government can prevent more strikes by discussing all of the issues of disagreement, including pay. The nursing unions have repeatedly requested negotiations, the government should respond positively. The government’s refusal to enter into meaningful discussions is harming patients and exacerbating the crisis in NHS.
