Demand the government ban no-fault evictions now!
Speed up the passing of the Clause 21 bill to protect tenant's rights in the private sector from being handed no-fault eviction notices, at least until affect of mini budget is negligible.
The UK lags behind other countries in Europe (Ireland and Germany) when it comes to rights of tenants in the private housing sector. I, myself, a responsible tenant - am now the victim of being handed a no fault eviction for 2023. I face homelessness, unaffordable rises, and upheaval due to the owner needing to sell. All since the disastrous mini budget earlier in 2022! It devastated the already tentative housing market. UK citizens face couch-surfing in their own country! THIS IS INHUMANE!
