Travellers from China to have a negative COVID tests before entering the UK.
Immediately require travellers from China to have a mandatory negative COVID tests before entering the UK.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Since you started your petition the Government has announced that passengers arriving from China to England will need to show a negative COVID-19 pre-departure test taken no more than 2 days prior to departure.
In addition, the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) is launching surveillance which will see a sample of passengers arriving in England from mainland China tested for COVID-19 at the point of their arrival.
