Let Scots decide if they want Charles the 3rd as their sovereign king.
Allow the Scottish electorate to decided whether or not it wasn't to remain apart of a hereditary monarchy or become a republic
There is great division between Scotland and the rest of the United Kingdom, despite Scotland winning a mandate for independence it's voice has been ignored by no10 and the high courts ruling.
Recognise that Scots should be given a choice whether they want to remain apart of a hereditary monarchy or move forward as a republic.
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
His Majesty King Charles is the monarch of the United Kingdom, and it is not clear how Scotland could become a republic unless it first became an independent nation.
If you want there to be a further referendum on Scottish independence we have published the following petition, which you might like to sign:
Grant a Section 30 Order to enable a Scottish Independence Referendum: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/628746
