Petition Action

Introduce testing and quarantine for people who have recently been to China

Petition Details

Require anybody arriving in the UK who has been to China in the previous 14 days to be tested for Covid-19 and if they test positive require that they isolate at their own cost in a Government facility for 10 days.

Additional Information

Covid-19 rates in China are surging. To protect the UK from the risk of increased transmission, we want the Government to introduce mandatory Covid-19 testing for UK arrivals who have been to mainland China in the last 14 days tests. If they test negative they can enter the UK with no restrictions, if they test positive they would at their own cost be transferred to a Government facility to isolate for 10 days.
